It’s time I tell you about my project. We’re now in 2026, and I haven’t made much progress on it.
But I believe we need to start somewhere, so let's go ahead.
In 2025, after a sudden change in my life, I decided that it was time to think about a project. Not just to feel better, but to truly live, move forward, and create something that reflects who I am.
And I finally settled on a new destination: Estonia. For those who know me, you’ll understand that I’m passionate about the history of the Soviet Union. Don’t worry; I’m not politically aligned or communist. It’s just fascinating to see how it all worked—or didn’t work.
I would have liked to go to Russia one day, but… you know what happened in 2022, four years ago now, or too long, I don't remember.
So I thought about it for an entire month...
We still don’t know each other very well. After 10 articles and 2 photo posts, you have no idea about the trip I took to Norway in a converted van for a whole month. And that experience left a mark on me; I wanted to recapture that northern feeling.
Yes, I know, Estonia is nothing like Norway. But I’m looking for that wild nature, that sense of being alone in the world, in a place that takes your breath away.
More than a month went by as I mulled over my choice, thought it through, and compared options. And I finally settled on Estonia.
The time available for this trip will be limited. Since I work, the trip must be short, organized, and well-planned. My goal is three weeks, a true road trip.
Another detail: I’ll travel in a tent for most of the journey, especially across Germany and Poland. From Lithuania onwards, I might stay in some Airbnbs to vary things up and enjoy the Baltic countries differently.
Now, it was time to establish a plan. Here it is:
1. Motorcycle & Equipment and Maintenance |
2. Camping & Comfort |
3. Clothes & Protection |
4. Safety & First Aid |
5. Documents & Logistics |
6. Media & Content Creation |
7. Make the trip, share it on Instagram, and follow it on a digital map |
8. Share it later on YouTube with episodes per country? |
This plan isn’t detailed here; that would be long and not very interesting to read like this. But each point will be explored in subsequent articles, step by step. Those who want the details, stay tuned!
Until departure, I wish you all a wonderful 2026 already. And welcome to my first trip with me.
